이혼 문제
1. 예수께서 이 말씀들을 끝마친 후에 갈릴리를 떠나 요단 강 건너편 유대 지방으로 가셨습니다.
2. 많은 무리가 따라오자 예수께서는 거기서 그들을 고쳐 주셨습니다.
3. 바리새파 사람들이 다가와 예수를 시험하려고 물었습니다. “이유가 된다면 사람이 그의 아내를 버리는 것이 적법한 것입니까?”
4. 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “너희는 ‘사람을 창조하신 분이 처음에 남자와 여자로 지으셨다’와 창1:27
5. ‘그러므로 남자가 자기 부모를 떠나 아내와 연합해 둘이 한 몸이 될 것이다’라는 말씀을 읽어 보지 못했느냐? 창2:24
6. 그러므로 그들이 이제 둘이 아니라 하나다. 하나님께서 짝지어 주신 것을 사람이 갈라놓지 못한다.”
7. 그들이 물었습니다. “그러면 모세는 왜 남자에게 이혼증서를 주고 아내와 헤어지라고 명령했습니까?”
8. 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “모세가 이혼을 허락한 것은 너희 마음이 완악했기 때문이다. 그러나 원래는 그렇지 않았다.
9. 내가 너희에게 말한다. 누구든지 음행한 경우를 제외하고 아내와 이혼하고 다른 여자와 결혼하는 사람은 간음죄를 짓는 것이다.”
10. 제자들이 예수께 말했습니다. “만일 남편과 아내의 관계가 그런 것이라면 차라리 결혼하지 않는 게 좋겠습니다.”
11. 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “모든 사람이 이 말을 받아들일 수는 없다. 오로지 하나님께서 허락하신 사람들만 받아들인다.
12. 모태에서부터 고자로 태어난 사람도 있고 다른 사람이 고자로 만들어서 고자가 된 사람도 있고 또 하늘나라를 위해 스스로 고자가 된 사람도 있다. 이 말을 받아들일 수 있는 사람은 받아들이라.”
13. 그때 사람들이 예수께 어린아이들을 데리고 와서 예수께서 손을 얹어 기도해 주시기를 원했습니다. 그러자 제자들이 그들을 꾸짖었습니다.
14. 예수께서 말씀하셨습니다. “어린아이들을 내게 오게 하라. 그들을 막지 말라. 하늘나라는 이런 어린아이 같은 사람들의 것이다.”
15. 예수께서 그들에게 손을 얹어 기도해 주시고 그곳을 떠나셨습니다.
부자 청년
16. 한 사람이 예수께 와서 물었습니다. “선생님, 제가 영생을 얻으려면 어떤 선한 일을 해야 합니까?”
17. 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “왜 너는 선한 일을 내게 묻느냐? 선하신 분은 오직 한 분이시다. 네가 생명에 들어가려면 계명들을 지켜라.”
18. 그 사람이 예수께 물었습니다. “어떤 계명을 말씀하십니까?” 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “‘살인하지 말라, 간음하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 거짓 증언하지 말라. 출20:12-16;신5:16-20
19. 네 부모를 공경하라, 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라.’” 레19:18
20. 그 청년이 말했습니다. “이 모든 것을 제가 지켰습니다. 제가 아직 무엇이 부족합니까?”
21. 예수께서 대답하셨습니다. “만일 네가 완전해지고자 한다면 가서 네 재산을 팔아 그 돈을 가난한 사람에게 주어라. 그러면 네가 하늘에서 보물을 얻을 것이다. 그리고 와서 나를 따라라.”
22. 그러나 그 청년은 이 말을 듣고 슬픔에 잠겨 돌아갔습니다. 그는 굉장한 부자였기 때문입니다.
23. 그때 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 부자는 하늘나라에 들어가기가 어렵다.
24. 다시 내가 너희에게 말한다. 낙타가 바늘귀에 들어가는 것이 부자가 하늘나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉽다.”
25. 제자들은 이 말씀을 듣고 매우 놀라 물었습니다. “그러면 도대체 누가 구원을 얻겠습니까?”
26. 예수께서 그들을 눈여겨보시고 말씀하셨습니다. “사람에게는 불가능한 일이다. 그러나 하나님께는 모든 것이 가능하다.”
27. 베드로가 대답했습니다. “보십시오. 우리는 모든 것을 버리고 선생님을 따랐습니다! 그렇다면 우리는 무엇을 얻겠습니까?”
28. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 새 세상에서 인자가 자기의 영광스러운 보좌에 앉게 되면 나를 따르는 너희도 열두 보좌에 앉아 이스라엘의 열두 지파를 심판할 것이다.
29. 또한 내 이름을 위해 집이나 형제나 부모나 자녀나 논밭을 버린 사람은 누구나 100배나 받을 것이며 또 영생을 물려받게 될 것이다.
30. 그러나 먼저 된 사람이 나중 되고 나중 된 사람이 먼저 되는 일이 많을 것이다.”

1. And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
2. And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
3. The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4. And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
7. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8. He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
10. His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11. But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
12. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
13. Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16. And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19. Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21. Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28. And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

포도원 일꾼 비유
1. “하늘나라는 자기 포도원에서 일할 일꾼을 고용하려고 이른 아침에 집을 나선 어떤 포도원 주인과 같다.
2. 그 주인은 하루 품삯으로 1데나리온을 주기로 하고 일꾼들을 포도원으로 보냈다.
3. 오전 9시쯤 돼 그가 나가 보니 시장에 빈둥거리는 사람들이 있었다.
4. 그는 그들에게 ‘너희도 내 포도원에 가서 일하라. 적당한 품삯을 주겠다’라고 했다.
5. 그래서 그들도 포도원으로 들어갔다. 그 사람은 12시와 오후 3시쯤에도 다시 나가 또 그렇게 했다.
6. 그리고 오후 5시쯤 다시 나가 보니 아직도 빈둥거리며 서 있는 사람들이 있었다. 그는 ‘왜 하루 종일 하는 일 없이 여기서 빈둥거리고 있느냐?’고 물었다.
7. 그들은 ‘아무도 일자리를 주지 않습니다’라고 대답했다. 주인이 그들에게 말했다. ‘너희도 내 포도원에 와서 일하라’고 말했다.
8. 날이 저물자 포도원 주인이 관리인에게 말했다. ‘일꾼들을 불러 품삯을 지불하여라. 맨 나중에 고용된 사람부터 시작해서 맨 처음 고용된 사람까지 그 순서대로 주어라.’
9. 오후 5시에 고용된 일꾼들이 와서 각각 1데나리온씩 받았다.
10. 맨 처음 고용된 일꾼들이 와서는 자기들이 더 많이 받으리라고 기대했다. 그러나 각 사람이 똑같이 1데나리온씩 받았다.
11. 그들은 품삯을 받고 포도원 주인을 향해 불평했다.
12. ‘나중에 고용된 일꾼들은 고작 한 시간밖에 일하지 않았습니다. 그런데 하루 종일 뙤약볕에서 고되게 일한 우리와 똑같은 일당을 주시다니요?’
13. 그러자 포도원 주인이 일꾼 중 하나에게 대답했다. ‘여보게 친구, 나는 자네에게 불의한 것이 없네. 자네가 처음에 1데나리온을 받고 일하겠다고 하지 않았나?
14. 그러니 자네 일당이나 받아 가게. 나중에 온 일꾼에게 자네와 똑같이 주는 것이 내 뜻이네.
15. 내가 내 것을 내 뜻대로 하는 것이 정당하지 않은가? 아니면 내가 선한 것이 자네 눈에 거슬리는가?’
16. 이처럼 나중 된 사람이 먼저 되고 먼저 된 사람이 나중 될 것이다.”
죽음과 부활에 대한 예언
17. 예수께서 예루살렘으로 올라가시면서 열두 제자를 따로 곁에 불러 놓으시고 길에서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다.
18. “보라. 우리는 지금 예루살렘으로 올라가고 있다. 거기서 인자는 대제사장들과 율법학자들에게 넘겨질 것이고 그들은 인자에게 사형선고를 내릴 것이다.
19. 그리고 그들이 인자를 이방 사람들에게 넘겨주면 그들은 인자를 조롱하고 채찍으로 때리고 십자가에 못 박을 것이다. 그러나 인자는 3일째 되는 날에 다시 살아날 것이다.”
20. 그때 세베대의 아들들의 어머니가 자기 아들들과 함께 예수께 다가와 무릎을 꿇으며 간청했습니다.
21. 예수께서 물으셨습니다. “무엇을 원하느냐?” 그 여인이 대답했습니다. “주의 나라에서 제 두 아들 중 하나는 주의 오른편에, 다른 하나는 왼편에 앉게 해 주십시오.”
22. 예수께서 그들에게 대답하셨습니다. “너희가 지금 무엇을 구하고 있는지 모르는구나. 내가 이제 마시려는 잔을 너희가 마실 수 있겠느냐?” 그들이 대답했습니다. “할 수 있습니다.”
23. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “너희가 분명히 내 잔을 마시게 될 것이다. 그러나 내 오른편이나 왼편에 앉는 것은 내가 정해 주는 것이 아니다. 그 자리는 내 아버지께서 정하신 사람들에게 돌아갈 것이다.”
24. 이 말을 들은 다른 열 명의 제자들은 이 두 형제에게 분개했습니다.
25. 예수께서 제자들을 함께 불러 놓고 말씀하셨습니다. “너희도 알듯이 이방 통치자들은 자기 백성들 위에 군림하고 그 고관들도 권력을 행사한다.
26. 너희는 그렇게 해서는 안 된다. 오히려 누구든지 너희 중에서 큰 사람이
되려는 사람은 너희를 섬기는 사람이 돼야 하고
27. 누구든지 첫째가 되려는 사람은 너희의 종이 돼야 한다.
28. 인자 역시 섬김을 받으러 온 것이 아니라 섬기러 왔고 많은 사람을 위해 자기 목숨을 대속물로 주려고 온 것이다.”
보지 못하는 두 사람을 고치심
29. 그들이 여리고를 떠날 때에 큰 무리가 예수를 따랐습니다.
30. 눈먼 사람 두 명이 길가에 앉아 있다가 예수께서 지나가신다는 말을 듣고 소리를 질렀습니다. “다윗의 자손이신 주님, 저희를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오!”
31. 사람들이 그들을 꾸짖으며 조용히 하라고 했습니다. 하지만 그들은 더욱 큰 소리를 질렀습니다. “다윗의 자손이신 주님, 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오!”
32. 예수께서 걸음을 멈추고 그들을 불러 물으셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 무엇을 해 주기 원하느냐?”
33. 그들이 대답했습니다. “주님, 우리 눈을 뜨게 해 주십시오.”
34. 예수께서 그들을 불쌍히 여기시고 그들의 눈에 손을 대셨습니다. 그러자 그들이 곧 다시 보게 됐습니다. 그리고 그들은 예수를 따랐습니다.

1. For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4. And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7. They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8. So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11. And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12. Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14. Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17. And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18. Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19. And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20. Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
24. And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29. And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
31. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
32. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33. They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
