미국 지질 조사국은 2 월 22 일 에콰도르의 Ambato에서 남동쪽으로 224 킬로미터 떨어진 7.7 규모의 지진을보고했다.
The United States Geological Survey has reported a 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck 224 kilometres east-southeast of Ambato, Ecuador, on 22 February.
페루 - 에콰도르 국경 지역은 유럽 지중해 지진 연구소에 따르면 7.5 규모의 대지진을 겪었고 미국 지질 조사국에 따르면 7.7 규모의 지진이 발생했다.
Bluradio에 따르면, 에콰도르와 국경 지역의 여러 도시에서 떨림을 느낀다고 증인들이보고했다.
The Peru-Ecuador border region has suffered a major 7.5-magnitude earthquake, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre and 7.7 magnitude according to the United States Geological Survey.
Witnesses have reported of feeling the tremors in various cities in the border area with neighbouring Ecuador, according to Bluradio.
사망자는 즉각 알려지지 않았으며 에콰도르 대통령 레닌 모레노 (Lenin Moreno)는 예비 보고서는 중대한 피해가 발생한 것이 아니라고 밝혔다.
에쿠아도르 국가 위험 및 비상관리 서비스의 보도 자료에 따르면 Gualaquiza, Macas 및 Cuenca에서 6 명이 부상당했다고한다.
과야킬 (Guayaquil)과 구아라이자 (Gualaquiza)에 있는 2 곳의 보건 센터와 함께 6 채의 집이 영향을 받았다.
사전 예방조치로서 과야킬 공항과 터널은 폐쇄되었지만 이후 재개되었습니다.
Chone, Portoviejo 및 Sucre에서도 정전이 보고되었습니다. 이후 전원이 복원되었습니다.
National Public Radio는 지역 응급센터가 필요할 경우 활성화됐다고 전했다.
There has been no immediate word of fatalities, and Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno stated that preliminary reports do not indicate major damage occurred.
Six people were injured in Gualaquiza, Macas and Cuenca, according to a press release from the National Risk and Emergency Management Service of Ecuador.
Six houses were affected, along with two health centers in Guayaquil and Gualaquiza.
As a precaution, the airport and tunnels of Guayaquil were closed but have since reopened.
Power outages were also reported in Chone, Portoviejo and Sucre. Power has since been restored.
Regional emergency centers had been activated in the event they are needed, National Public Radio stated.
