우리말성경]제1장

성령을 약속하심과 예수의 승천

1.  데오빌로여, 제가 먼저 쓴 글에는 예수께서 일하시고 가르치기 시작하신 모든 것
2.  곧 예수께서 선택하신 사도들에게 성령을 통해 명령하신 후 하늘로 들려 올라가신 날까지의 일을 기록했습니다.

3.  예수께서 고난당하신 후에 자신이 살아 계심을 여러 가지 확실한 증거로 사도들에게 직접 보여 주셨고 40일 동안 그들에게 나타나 하나님 나라에 대한 일을 말씀하셨습니다.
4.  그들과 함께 모였을 때 예수께서 이렇게 명령하셨습니다. “예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 너희가 내게 들은 대로 내 아버지가 약속하신 선물을 기다리라.
5.  요한은 물로 세례를 주었지만 너희는 며칠 안에 성령으로 세례를 받을 것이다.”

 

6.  그래서 그들은 다같이 모여 있을 때 예수께 물었습니다. “주여, 주께서 이스라엘에게 나라를 회복시켜 주시려는 것이 지금입니까?”
7.  예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “그날과 그때는 아버지께서 자신의 권세로 정하셨으니 너희가 알 것이 아니다.

8.  그러나 성령께서 너희에게 오시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 될 것이다.”
9.  예수께서 이 말씀을 하신 뒤 그들의 눈앞에서 들려 올라가셨습니다. 그리고 예수의 모습이 이내 구름 속으로 사라져 보이지 않게 됐습니다.
10.  그들은 예수께서 올라가시는 동안 계속 하늘을 뚫어지게 쳐다보고 있었습니다. 그런데 갑자기 흰옷을 입은 두 사람이 그들 곁에 서서
11.  “갈릴리 사람들아, 왜 여기 서서 하늘만 쳐다보고 있느냐? 너희 곁을 떠나 하늘로 올라가신 이 예수는 하늘로 올라가시는 것을 너희가 본 그대로 다시 오실 것이다”라고 말했습니다.

12.  그 후 그들은 올리브 산이라 불리는 곳에서부터 예루살렘으로 돌아왔는데 이 산은 예루살렘에서 가까워 안식일에 걸어도 되는 거리였습니다.
13.  그들은 예루살렘 안으로 들어와서 자기들이 묵고 있던 다락방으로 올라갔습니다. 거기 있던 사람들은 베드로, 요한, 야고보, 안드레, 빌립, 도마, 바돌로매, 마태, 알패오의 아들 야고보, 열심당원 시몬 그리고 야고보의 아들 유다였습니다.

 

14.  그들은 모두 그곳에 모인 여자들과 예수의 어머니 마리아와 예수의 동생들과 함께 한마음으로 기도에 전념하고 있었습니다.
15.  그 무렵 모인 사람들이 약 120명쯤 됐는데 베드로가 형제들 가운데 일어나 말했습니다.
16.  “형제들이여, 예수를 체포한 사람들의 앞잡이가 된 유다에 관해 성령께서 다윗의 입을 통해 미리 말씀하신 성경이 이뤄질 수밖에 없었습니다.
17.  그는 우리 가운데 속했던 사람이었고 이 직무의 한 몫을 담당했던 사람이었습니다.
18.  (유다는 자기 불의의 대가로 밭을 샀는데 거기서 그는 곤두박질해 배가 터지고 내장이 온통 밖으로 쏟아져 나왔습니다.
19.  이 일이 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람에게 알려졌습니다. 이 밭을 그들의 지방 말로 아겔다마라 불렀는데 그것은 ‘피의 밭’이라는 뜻입니다.)

 

20.  그런데 시편에 ‘그의 거처를 폐허가 되게 하시고 그곳에 아무도 살지 못하게 하십시오’라고 기록됐고 또 ‘다른 사람이 그의 직무를 차지하게 해 주십시오.’라고 기록됐습니다. 시69:25;시109:8
21.  그러므로 주 예수께서 항상 우리와 같이 다니던 동안에, 곧 요한이 세례를 주던 때부터 시작해 예수께서 우리들 가운데서 하늘로 올리워 가시기까지
22.  함께 다니던 사람들 가운데 하나를 뽑아 우리와 함께 예수의 부활에 대한 증인이 되게 해야 합니다.”
23.  그래서 사도들이 두 사람, 곧 바사바 또는 유스도라고도 불리는 요셉과 맛디아를 추천했습니다.

 

24.  그리고 그들은 “모든 사람의 마음을 아시는 주여, 이 두 사람 가운데 주께서 택하신 사람이 누구인지 보여 주셔서

1.  In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach
2.  until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
3.  After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
4.  On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
5.  For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
6.  So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
7.  He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

 

8.  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
9.  After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10.  They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
11.  "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
12.  Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day's walk from the city.
13.  When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James.
14.  They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
15.  In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)

 

16.  and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus --
17.  he was one of our number and shared in this ministry."
18.  (With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.
19.  Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)
20.  "For," said Peter, "it is written in the book of Psalms, "`May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it,' and, "`May another take his place of leadership.'
21.  Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

 

22.  beginning from John's baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection."
23.  So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias.
24.  Then they prayed, "Lord, you know everyone's heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen
25.  to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs."
26.  Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

성령께서 강림하심

1.  마침내 오순절이 이르렀을 때 그들이 모두 함께 한 곳에 모여 있었습니다.
2.  그때 하늘로부터 갑자기 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있었고 그들이 앉아 있던 온 집을 가득 채웠습니다.
3.  그리고 마치 불 같은 혀들이 갈라지는 것이 그들에게 나타나 그들 각 사람 위에 임했습니다.
4.  그러자 모두 성령으로 충만함을 받고 성령께서 그들에게 말하게 하심을 따라 그들이 다른 방언으로 말하기 시작했습니다.
5.  그때 세계 각 나라로부터 온 경건한 유대 사람들이 예루살렘에 머물고 있었습니다.

 

6.  그런데 이런 소리가 나자 많은 사람들이 모였는데 각자 자기들의 언어로 제자들이 말하는 것을 듣고 모두 어안이 벙벙했습니다.
7.  그래서 그들은 놀라 이상하게 여기며 말했습니다. “보십시오. 지금 말하고 있는 이 사람들은 모두 갈릴리 사람들이 아닙니까?
8.  그런데 우리가 각자 태어난 곳의 말로 듣고 있으니 어찌 된 일입니까?
9.  우리는 바대 사람들과 메대 사람들과 엘림사람들이며 메소포타미아, 유대, 갑바도기아, 본도, 아시아,
10.  브루기아, 밤빌리아, 이집트 그리고 구레네에 가까운 리비야 지역들에 사는 사람들이며, 로마로부터 온 나그네 된 유대 사람들과 유대교로 개종한 사람들이며
11.  크레타 사람들과 아라비아 사람들인데 우리는 지금 저들이 말하고 있는 하나님의 큰일들을 우리 각자의 말로 듣고 있습니다.”
12.  그러자 모든 사람들이 놀라 당황해 “이것이 도대체 어찌 된 일입니까?” 하고 서로서로에게 말했습니다.
13.  그러나 어떤 사람들은 “그들이 새 술에 취했다”라고 조롱하며 말하기도 했습니다.

베드로의 오순절 설교

14.  그러자 베드로가 열한 사도와 함께 서서 자신의 목소리를 높여 그들에게 선포했습니다. “유대 사람들과 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람들이여, 이 일을 여러분에게 알게 하고자 하니 내 말에 귀를 기울이십시오.
15.  지금은 오전 9시니 여러분 생각처럼 이 사람들이 술에 취한 것이 아닙니다.
16.  다만 이 일은 예언자 요엘을 통해 말씀하신 것입니다.
17.  하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다. ‘마지막 날에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주겠다. 그래서 너희 아들들과 너희 딸들은 예언을 하고 너희 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희 나이 든 사람들은 꿈을 꿀 것이다.
18.  그날에 내가 내 남종들과 여종들에게도 내 영을 부어 주겠다. 그래서 그들이 예언을 할 것이다.

19.  또 내가 위로 하늘에서는 기사들과 아래로 땅에서는 표적들을 나타낼 것이다. 피와 불과 자욱한 연기다.
20.  주의 크고 영화로운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변해 어둠이 되고 달이 변해 피가 될 것이다.
21.  그러나 누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이다.’ 욜2:28-32
22.  이스라엘 사람들이여, 이 말들을 들어 보십시오. 여러분이 아는 바와 같이 나사렛 예수는 하나님께서 그를 통해 여러분 가운데서 베푸신 능력들과 기사들과 표적들로 여러분에게 증거하신 분입니다.

 

23.  이 예수는 하나님께서 정하신 뜻과 미리 아심을 따라 내주셨고 여러분은 법 없는 사람들의 손을 빌어 그분을 십자가에 못 박아 죽였습니다.
24.  그러나 하나님께서는 죽음의 고통에서 풀어 그분을 살리셨습니다. 왜냐하면 그분은 죽음에 사로잡혀 있을 수 없었기 때문입니다.
25.  다윗이 그분에 대해 말했습니다. ‘내가 내 앞에 계신 주를 항상 뵙습니다. 주께서 내 오른편에 계시므로 내가 흔들리지 않습니다.
26.  그러므로 내 마음이 기쁘고 내 입술은 즐거워했으며 내 육체도 소망 속에 살 것입니다.

 

 

27.  이는 주께서 내 영혼을 지옥에 버리지 않으시며 주의 거룩하신 분으로 썩음을 당치 않게 하실 것이기 때문입니다.
28.  주께서 내게 생명의 길을 알려 주셨으니 주 앞에서 내게 기쁨을 가득 채워 주실 것입니다.’ 시16:8-11
29.  형제들이여, 나는 여러분에게 조상 다윗에 대해 담대히 말할 수 있습니다. 그는 죽어 장사돼 그의 무덤이 오늘까지 우리 가운데 있습니다.
30.  다윗은 예언자이기에 하나님께서 그에게 맹세하셔서 그의 몸에서 날 자손을 세워 그의 보좌 위에 앉히시리라는 것을 알고

34.  다윗은 하늘에 올라가지 못했으나 이렇게 말했습니다.
35.  ‘주께서 내 주께 말씀하시기를 내가 네 원수를 네 발 아래 굴복시키기까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있어라’ 하셨습니다. 시110:1
36.  그러므로 이스라엘 모든 집은 확실하게 알아 두십시오. 여러분들이 십자가에 못 박은 이 예수를 하나님께서 주와 그리스도가 되게 하셨습니다.
37.  그러자 그들이 듣고 마음이 찔려 베드로와 다른 사도들에게 “형제들이여, 우리가 무엇을 해야 합니까?” 하고 베드로와 다른 사도들에게 물었습니다.

 

38.  이때 베드로가 대답했습니다. “회개하십시오. 그리고 여러분의 죄를 용서받기 위해 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 여러분이 각각 세례를 받으십시오. 그러면 여러분이 성령의 선물을 받게 될 것입니다.
39.  이 약속은 여러분과 여러분의 자녀와 먼 데 있는 모든 사람, 곧 주 우리 하나님께서 부르시는 모든 사람들에게 주신 것입니다.”
40.  베드로가 “이 사악한 세대로부터 구원을 받으시오”라고 말하면서 다른 여러 가지 말로 확증하며 그들을 권했습니다.
41.  그러자 베드로의 말을 받아들인 사람들이 세례를 받았고 그날 믿는 사람의 숫자가 약 3,000명이나 더 늘어났습니다.

초대교회 성도들의 삶

42.  그들은 사도들의 가르침을 받고 교제하며 빵을 떼는 것과 기도하는 일에 전념했습니다.
43.  모든 사람들에게 두려움이 임했는데 사도들을 통해 기사들과 표적들이 나타났습니다.
44.  믿는 사람들이 모두 함께 모여 모든 물건을 함께 쓰며
45.  재산과 소유물을 팔아 각 사람에게 필요한 대로 나눠 주었습니다.
46.  그리고 날마다 성전에서 한마음으로 모이기를 힘쓰고 집집마다 빵을 떼면서 기쁨과 순수한 마음으로 음식을 나눠 먹었습니다.
47.  그리고 하나님을 찬양하고 사람들로부터 칭찬을 받아 주께서 날마다 구원받는 사람들을 더하게 하셨습니다.

 

[NIV]제2장

1.  When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4.  All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
5.  Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
6.  When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
7.  Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
8.  Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?
9.  Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10.  Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome
11.  (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs -- we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"

 

12.  Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"
13.  Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine."
14.  Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.
15.  These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!
16.  No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17.  "`In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
18.  Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
19.  I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20.  The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

 

 

21.  And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
22.  "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.
23.  This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.
24.  But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
25.  David said about him: "`I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
26.  Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope,
27.  because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
28.  You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.'
29.  "Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day.
30.  But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.
31.  Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay.
32.  God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.
33.  Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
34.  For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, "`The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand
35.  until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."'
36.  "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
37.  When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

 

 

38.  Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39.  The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off -- for all whom the Lord our God will call."
40.  With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."
41.  Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
42.  They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.
44.  All the believers were together and had everything in common.
45.  Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
46.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
47.  praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
