만일 너희가 죄를 범하거든
If You Sin

마가복음 9:38-50
Mark 9:38-50

예수님은 제자들과 계속해서 선교 여행을 하고 있었습니다.
Jesus and his disciples were traveling on a mission trip.

예수님은 우리들에게 섬겨야할 대상을 말씀하셨습니다.
Jesus spoke to us about the object of our service.

저는 지난 주일 설교에도 언급했습니다.
I mentioned it last week during my sermon.

예수님은 우리들이 작은 어린 아이까지 섬기라고 하셨습니다.
Jesus told us to serve even the little children.

이 어린 아이는 가난한 집의 아이들입니다.
These children were from poor families.

가난한 집의 어린 아이를 예수님 처럼 대접할 수 있어야 합니다.
We need to be able to serve the little ones just like Jesus has done.

42.  또 누구든지 나를 믿는 이 작은 자들 중 하나라도 실족하게 하면 차라리 연자맷돌이 그 목에 매여 바다에 던져지는 것이 나으리라.
42.  "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.

계속해서 예수님은 작은 자를 죄를 짓게하지 말라고 우리들에게 말씀하십니다.
Jesus continued to speak to us not to cause the little ones to sin.

예수님은 우리들의 죄의 문제를 심각하게 말씀하십니다.
Jesus speaks seriously about the problem of our sins.

예수님은 작은 어린아이라도 죄를 짓게 해서는 안된다는 말씀하십니다.
Jesus spoke to us not to let even the little kids to sin

저는 필리핀에서 어린 아이들이 죄를 범하는 것을 자주 봅니다.
In the Philippines, I witness kids committing crimes quite often.

저는 아이들이 다른 사람들의 물건을 훔치는 것을 봅니다.
I witness kids stealing other people’s belongings

그러나 필리핀의 어른들은 못 본듯이 지나칩니다.
However, Filipino adults walk past the scene as if they did not see what had happened.

이것은 어른들이 아이들의 죄를 허용하는 것이나 마찬가지입니다.
This is as though the adults are letting the kids commit crimes.

우리들이 다른 사람을 죄 짓게 만들기 보다는 차라리 죽으라는 말씀입니다.
Jesus’ words mean that it is better for one to die than to let others sin.

예수님은 계속해서 우리들에게 죄의 심각성을 말씀하십니다.
Jesus continued to talk about the severity of sin.
                           
43.  만일 네 손이 너를 범죄하게 하거든 찍어버리라 장애인으로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 손을 가지고 지옥 곧 꺼지지 않는 불에 들어가는 것보다 나으니라

43.  If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.

우리들의 손이 죄를 범할 수 있습니다.
Our hands can cause us to sin.

예수님은 우리들의 죄 지은 손을 찍어 버리라 말씀하셨습니다.
Jesus told us to cut it off if our hands sin.

예수님은 장애인으로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 손을 가지고 지옥에 가는 것 보다 낫다고 하십니다.
Jesus said it is better for us to be disabled and enter life crippled than to go into hell with two hands. 

예수님은 계속해서 우리에게 말씀하십니다.
Jesus continued to speak to us.

45.  만일 네 발이 너를 범죄하게 하거든 찍어버리라.
45.  And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off.

우리들의 발이 죄 짓는 곳으로 갈 수 있습니다.
Our foot can lead us to a place where we sin.

예수님은 죄짓는 곳으로 가는 발을 찍어버리라 말씀하십니다.
Jesus told us to cut it off if our foot leads us to sin.

“다리 저는 자로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 발을 가지고 지옥에 던져지는 것보다 나으니라.”
“It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.”

우리들의 눈이 죄를 지을 수 있습니다
Our eyes can cause us to sin.

예수님은 죄 지은 눈을 빼어버리라 말씀하십니다.
Jesus told us to pluck it out if our eye causes us to sin.

47.  만일 네 눈이 너를 범죄하게 하거든 빼버리라
47.  And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out.

한 눈으로 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것이 두 눈을 가지고 지옥에 던져지는 것보다 나으니라
It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,

어느날 이스라엘의 다윗 왕이 한 여인이 목욕하는 모습을 보았습니다.
One day, King David saw a woman bathing.

그 여인은 충신 우리아의 아내였습니다.
She was the wife of Uriah, a loyal soldier.

다윗 왕은 그 여인을 불러 간음 죄를 범하였습니다.
David brought her and committed adultery.

다윗 왕이 그 여인이 목욕하는 모습을 보지 않았다면 죄를 범하지 않았을 것입니다.
King David would not have committed adultery, had he not seen her bathing.

우리들의 눈은 모든 사물을 볼 수 있습니다.
Our eyes can see all the things that are around us.

내가 의도적으로 볼 수 있는 것이 있습니다.
There are things I can intentionally see.

그러나 내가 어쩔수 없이 볼 수 있는 것이 있습니다.
But there are things that I unintentionally see.

요한일서2:16.  이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로부터 온 것이 아니요 세상으로부터 온 것이라
1John 2:16.  For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does -- comes not from the Father but from the world.

에덴 동산에서 이브는 사탄의 유혹을 받았습니다.
In the garden of Eden, Eve was tempted by satan.

먼저 그녀는 눈으로 선악과를 바라보았습니다.
First, she looked at the forbidden fruit.

사탄은 계속해서 그녀를 유혹했습니다.
Satan continued to tempt her.

5.  너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아져 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄 하나님이 아심이니라
5.  "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the forbidden fruit.

이브는 사탄의 유혹에 빠졌습니다.
Eve was tempted by Satan.

그리고 손으로 선악과를 따서 먹었습니다.
And I ate after picking the forbidden fruit.

그리고 남편인 아담에게 선악과를 먹게 하였습니다.
He made her husband Adam eat the forbidden fruit.

그녀가 선악과를 보지 않았다면 좋았을 것입니다.
It would have been nice if she had not seen the forbidden fruit.

그녀가 선악과를 먹지 않았다면 인류의 불행은 없었을 것입니다.
If she hadn't eaten the fruit, there would have been no misfortune for mankind.

우리들은 천국과 지옥의 존재를 믿습니다.
We believe in the existence of heaven and hell.

그러므로 우리들은 죄를 짓지않아야 합니다.
Therefore, we should not sin.

죄를 짓는 자는 영생을 받을 수 없습니다.
Those who sin cannot receive eternal life.

죄의 삯은 사망이기 때문입니다.
Because the wages of sin is death.

우리들이 죄를 지을 때마다 손을 잘라버릴 수 있습니까?
Can we cut off our hands whenever it causes us to sin?

우리들이 죄를 지을 때마다 발을 잘라버릴 수 있습니까?
Can we cut off our feet whenever it causes us to sin?

우리들이 죄를 지을 때마다 눈을 빼어버릴 수 있습니까?
Can we pluck out our eyes whenever it causes us to sin?

우리들은 그럴 수 없습니다.
We can not do that.

하나님은 우리들에게 그러한 형벌을 허락하지 않으셨습니다.
God did not allow that punishment to last.

우리들은 우리들의 의로운 행동으로 영생에 이르지 못합니다.
We can not attain eternal life through our righteous acts.

우리들은 예수님의 은혜로 우리들은 구원을 얻습니다.
We receive eternal life through the Grace of Jesus.

여러분은 이 말씀을 기억하시나요?
Do you remember these words?

세례 요한의 첫 메시지가 회개하라 천국이 가까이 왔다고 말했습니다.
The first message of John the Baptist was of repentance for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

예수님의 첫 메시지도 회개하라 천국이 가까왔다 였습니다.
Jesus’s first message was also of repentance for the kingdom of heaven is near.

우리들은 회개해야 합니다.
We need to repent.

우리들이 회개해야 구원을 얻습니다.
We need to repent so we can be saved.

회개한 자가 주의 이름을 부릅니다.
Those who repent call upon the name of the Lord.

행2:21.  누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라 하였느니라
Act 2:21.  And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

우리들이 예수님의 대속의 사건을 믿으면 구원을 얻습니다.
If we believe in Jesus as the ransom for our sins, we receive salvation.

롬10: 13.  누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라
Rom 10:13.  for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

우리들이 십자가의 대속의 사건을 믿으면 영생을 얻습니다.
If we believe in Jesus as the ransom for our sins, we receive eternal life.

여러분은 이 사실을 믿으십니까?
Do you believe in this truth?

이것이 말씀의 결론입니다.
This is the conclusion of the sermon.

예수님은 작은 어린아이라도 죄를 짓게 해서는 안된다고 말씀하십니다
Jesus spoke to us not to let even the little kids to sin

우리들의 손이 죄를 범할 수 있습니다.
Our hands can cause us to sin.

예수님은 우리들의 죄 지은 손을 찍어 버리라 말씀하셨습니다.
Jesus told us to cut it off if our hands sin.

우리들의 발이 죄 짓는 곳으로 갈 수 있습니다.
Our feet can lead us to a place where we sin. 

예수님은 죄짓는 곳으로 가는 발을 찍어버리라 말씀하십니다.
Jesus told us to cut it off if our foot leads us to sin.

우리들의 눈이 죄를 지을 수 있습니다
Our eyes can cause us to sin.

예수님은 죄 지은 눈을 빼어버리라 말씀하십니다.
Jesus told us to pluck it out if our eye causes us to sin.

우리들이 살아가면서 이러한 죄를 지을 수 밖에 없습니다.
We are prone to committing such sins in our lives.

하나님은 우리들에게 이러한 형벌을 허락하지 않으셨습니다.
However, God did not allow these punishments.

우리들은 우리들의 행위로 영생에 이르지 못합니다.
We cannot attain eternal life through our acts.

우리들은 예수님의 은혜로 우리들은 구원을 얻습니다.
We receive eternal life through the Grace of Jesus.

우리들은 예수님의 대속의 은혜로 구원을 얻습니다.
We receive salvation through the grace of Jesus’ ransom

누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻습니다.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

우리들은 이 구원의 은혜를 감사하며 살아갈 수 있어야 합니다.
We should live our lives with gratitude toward this saving grace.

다같이 기도합시다
Let’s pray together.

하나님 아버지 감사합니다.
Father, thank you.

우리들은 죄를 지을 수 밖에 없는 연약한 죄인입니다.
We are sinners who are prone to sin.

가능하면 우리들은 죄를 짓지 않아야 합니다.
If possible, we should not sin.

하나님은 우리들에게 죄의 형벌을 허락하지 않으셨습니다.
God, you have not allowed punishment for our sins.

우리들은 예수님의 십자가의 대속의 은혜로 구원을 받습니다.
We receive salvation through the grace of Jesus’ ransom on the cross.

우리들은 이 은혜를 감사하면서 살아가기를 원합니다.
We want to live our lives with gratitude for this grace.

하나님 아버지, 이 믿음을 우리에게 주세요.
Heavenly Father, give us this faith.

예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
We pray in Jesus' name
